Day 1:  Days Inn, Holland MI

Today we travel to Holland, Michigan. After checking in to our

hotel, we head to dinner and a concert featuring New Odyssey, a timeless musical trio that will amaze you with there variety of sounds and instruments.

 

Day 2:  We start our day with...Tulips! We will visit the Veldheer Tulip Gardens which boasts over 5 million tulips to walk through and enjoy. After an included lunch, we visit the Dutch Village where you can see and feel the history and culture of the Dutch people. The rest of the day we have free time to explore the Marktplaatz in downtown Holland where you can enjoy the Dutch food, dancing, crafts, costumes & shopping all in one place.

 

Day 3:  This morning start the day with a tour around Holland with our step-on-guide. Then it’s time for the Streetscrubbing

parade, the traditional Dutch Cleaning of the streets for the Volksparade. The parade features the Exhibition Dutch Dance groups that “Klomp” along in their authentic costumes and wooden shoes. We have plenty of free time to explore before we head for dinner and tonight’s entertainment Singing with Sinatra. We will enjoy the timeless songs of Ol’ Blue Eyes, Tony Bennett & the great crooners of old.

 

Day 4:  After checking out of the hotel, we head for Windmill Island Gardens where we will see a 240 year old working Dutch windmill. The windmill towers over 36 acres of manicured gardens and canals. We are left with the excitement of Spring as we journey home.
